Ο 49χρονος τεχνικός θα επιστρέψει για πρώτη φορά στην Ευρώπη από το 1999 για χάρη της Φενέρμπαχτσε, με σκοπό να αντικαταστήσει τον Ζέλικο Ομπράντοβιτς αλλά και να σχεδιάζει μια ανταγωνιστική ομάδα με μειωμένο μπάτζετ εν όψει της νέας σεζόν.
